Minimum Energy Performance

LEED 2.2 Requirements:

Design the building project to comply with both—   
• the mandatory provisions (Sections 5.4, 6.4, 7.4, 8.4, 9.4 and 10.4) of ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2004 (without amendments); and
• the prescriptive requirements (Sections 5.5, 6.5, 7.5 and 9.5) or performance requirements (Section 11) of ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2004 (without amendments).

Submittals (DESIGN):

- Confirm that the project meets all mandatory provisions of ASHRAE Std. 90.1-2004.
- Indicate whether the prescriptive requirements, performance requirements, or computer simulation model was used. AND (For Projects With Special Circumstances)
- Provide an optional narrative to describe any additional comments or notes regarding special circumstances or considerations regarding the project's prerequisite approach.
